There are dives where you wish you could use both hands; where you don’t want or can’t afford to lose one hand for the flashlight. That’s where the OrcaTorch Mazu TD01 dive headlamp comes in. It’s a dive light with a completely different design, featuring the light in the center and the classic GoPro connector to attach the light on the opposite side.
\nIf you’re a cave diver, the Mazu TD01 can be attached to your helmet. But for all other divers, the Mazu TD01 features an adjustable head strap, making it easy to wear the TD01 on your head over your mask.
\nThe GoPro mount allows you to point the light in any direction you want: close to your face or straight ahead, and can be easily adjusted during the dive. Alternatively, the OrcaTorch housing for the Mazu TD01 also includes an additional GoPro mount that can be used to attach the TD01 wherever you like.
\nBut the use of the Mazu TD01 doesn’t stop when you return to the surface. Thanks to its built-in heat protection, you can continue to use it out of the water. This is not only useful for cave divers, but also before and after night dives, when you need to prepare or store your dive gear in a dark environment. The bright 1200-lumen white beam gives you all the light you want, right where you need it: in the direction you’re looking.
\nThe rotary switch on the right side of the Mazu TD01 allows you to switch from 1200 lumens to 450 lumens of white light by rotating the magnetic switch clockwise. Alternatively, rotating the switch counterclockwise provides 50 lumens or 15 lumens of red light, or 25 lumens of flashing red warning light.
