CARBON FIBER FABRIC
\nThe PATHOS MAXIMUM carbon blades are made of pure 285-T4 and 285-T2 carbon fiber. These fabrics are proven to be the best choice for our carbon blades due to the combination of high resistance and instant reaction. The selected carbon fibers combined with the best quality epoxy resin provide stiffness, reliability and long life. The 285-T4 4X4 carbon weaving style eliminates wrinkling, cracking and distortion of the blade and ensures complete resin soaking, while the inner 285-T2 2X2 weaving insures rapid recall.<\/p>\n
PROCESS
\nEach pair is processed thermally for 36 hours and cures at 8 tons pressure for 24 hours. This process gives the MAXIMUM carbon blades a polished surface that minimizes friction with the water and ensures more responsive performance.<\/p>\n
WATER RAILS
\nThe MAXIMUM carbon blades offer exceptional performance during deep dives thanks to their lateral water rail These elastic spoilers operate as guides, creating a water channel that prevents the fins to drift on the sides and save diver\u2019s precious energy.<\/p>\n
FLAP-SHAPED EDGE
\nAfter hundreds of hours of testing various fin edge shapes, we’ve concluded that the MAXIMUM flap-shaped edge not only overcomes the diver’s effort, but also adds extra thrust at the end of the kick. This element allows the diver to use less power, compared to previous concave shaped models.<\/p>\n
C-CURVE
\nMAXIMUM blades deflect the force created by the diver’s movement along their entire length. This is succeeded due to the carbon fabric\u2019s inner arrangement. The special inner design gives the blades the ability of taking under pressure a double curved S-shape that provides the best flexibility, efficiency and functionality.<\/p>\n
24\u00b0 ANGLE
\nBest fin performance is achieved by increasing the blade angle, which also requires a well-trained diver who trains consistently and maintains their fitness. The 24\u00b0 angle is comfortable for every diver, regardless of their fitness level, and allows everyone to perform at their best.
