The MC9’s balanced diaphragm first stage features Cressi’s PressureSync technology, which maintains a constant intermediate pressure (IP) throughout each breathing cycle. This innovative design reduces pressure fluctuations, offering one of the smoothest and most comfortable breathing experiences available.
A high-capacity conical filter with a large surface area traps more impurities from the tank than traditional flat filters. This improves air quality and protects the regulator from damage caused by debris entering the first stage—an essential feature for traveling divers using rental tanks.
The COMPACT second stage is exceptionally compact and lightweight, weighing just 135 grams (without the hose), reducing jaw fatigue even on longer dives. The large purge port is easy to locate, and an adjustable Venturi system allows divers to precisely adjust airflow: pre-dive mode minimizes the risk of free-flow on the surface, and dive mode optimizes performance underwater.
