The 3° pre-shaped anatomy of the 250 foot pocket makes it particularly comfortable to wear. The thin thicknesses adapt the shape of the upper to that of the foot, without painful constraints.
The polymer used for the 250 foot pocket is particularly elastic and allows for an easy and simple fit, improving comfort. The internal insole allows for a rigid foot pocket in the sole but comfortable in the upper.
A key element of the UP fins is the fact that the water rails are overmolded onto the blades. The length (30.2* cm), variable height (max 17.8* mm), thickness (3.3* mm), and material (thermo-rubber) are additional important characteristics of these blades. The result is a blade that functions perfectly without any interference from the water rails, yet with maximum control over the fin’s lateral drift during kicking.
The tip of the blade has a profile reminiscent of a whale’s tail. The blade is 59 cm long at the center and 62.5 cm long at the sides. This measurement is the length from the tip of the foot pocket to the end of the blade. The maximum total length of the blade is 79.5 cm, while the maximum total length of the fin, including the foot pocket, is 91 cm.
The blade angle is 29°, which, when added to the 3° angle of the 250 foot pocket, brings the total to 32°.
