The Helix Pro is a mid-range regulator that embodies Aqualung’s DNA of technical excellence. Representing our flagship range, it offers superior breathing performance with its balanced first and second stages. Equipped with patented ACD technology, the first stage remains fully protected even when depressurized, ensuring maximum durability.

First Stage
• ACD (AUTO CLOSURE DEVICE): The ACD automatically seals the first stage when not connected to the tank valve to protect the internal components from debris and water. It helps maintain oxygen compatibility, preserves internal lubrication, and keeps the inlet filter clean and dry. This helps extend the life of the first stage.
• DRY CHAMBER: Where there’s no moisture, there’s no ice. The dry chamber keeps the internal components clean and dry by isolating them from the outside environment. This improves the regulator’s overall resistance to freezing during cold-water dives.
• SUPPRESSION MECHANISM: Also known as Auto-Balanced, the pressure relief mechanism overcompensates the working pressure of the first stage to reduce breathing effort. This mechanism ensures effortless breathing from the beginning to the end of the dive, regardless of depth and tank pressure.
• BALANCED MEMBRANE: Offers superior and consistent performance.
• HIGH PRESSURE HP VALVE: This is the heart of the first stage. The high pressure valve opens and closes with each breath and must ensure a perfect seal with durable materials that work in all conditions and with all gases. The first stage’s operating pressure is automatically increased to counteract the increase in breathing air density.
• DUST CAP PROTECTION: Attached to the regulator body, the dust cap protects the inlet fitting and automatic shut-off device from impact and damage. It also seals the first stage when it is removed from the tank.
• 2 HP Ports and 4 LP Ports: Perfectly positioned to allow for optimal whip setup.
• AVAILABILITY: DIN (4,350 psi/300 bar max.)

Second stage
• COVER OPENING CHANNELS: The front cover opening channels allow water to flow laterally past the diaphragm. The large radial openings prevent continuous flow during dives in strong currents and reduce peak breathing flow by 20%.
• VENTURI ADJUSTMENT LEVER: The Venturi adjustment lever allows divers to precisely control and adjust airflow. In the “MIN” position, valve assistance is minimized, resulting in greater inhalation effort, ideal for avoiding continuous delivery. In the “MAX” position, valve assistance is maximized, resulting in less inhalation effort. The overmolded elastomer and ergonomically designed lever allow airflow control even while wearing gloves.
• PNEUMATICALLY BALANCED: For smooth, easy breathing at all depths.
• HEAT EXCHANGER: Prevents ice from forming on the valve inlet.
• COMFOBITE: A patented, comfortable mouthpiece with a unique palatal bridge reduces jaw fatigue and keeps the second stage securely in place. Made of hypoallergenic silicone, the orthodontic mouthpiece is soft and sturdy.
• INTERCHANGEABLE MOUTHPIECE: Detachable and reusable mouthpiece locking clip allows for quick and easy replacement without tools, avoiding plastic waste.
• REUSABLE MOUTHPIECE CLIP: Make quick and easy mouthpiece changes using the removable, reusable clip.
