For power transfer, it incorporates the blade under the foot pocket, and the blade angle provides maximum efficiency during the kicking cycle, requiring less energy to propel the blade. This fin is constructed from multiple composites bonded together to ensure comfort around the foot, yet durable enough to transfer force where needed. It can be comfortably worn with or without a neoprene sock.
